Quizalize is a web based classroom quiz game similar to Kahoot! and Quizizz. Students earn points for answering questions correctly. The teacher could have students complete an individual quiz or set up a class competition. Once the teacher adds the activity to the class and students work at their own pace to answer the questions.
Go to Quizalize.com and sign in as a teacher with your Google account. The first time you log in, you will be prompted to create a class where you will add students and activities. You can search for premade activites or create one of your own. You can only have 3 classes at a time with the free version, so you may need to be creative. Students can join the class by going to zzi.sh and entering your unique class code.
The teacher can view the responses of each student in the dashboard. To help the teacher see their progress, students are assigned to one of three groups: strong, almost there, or needs help. The teacher can pre-assign follow-up activities based on the group they are in at the end of the quiz. The dashboard gives graphs and personalized insights on students work and lists what they need to work on.
