What is Google Forms?

Forms allows users to create surveys, quizzes and questionnaires to help collect data from students, parents and building staff.

What is set-up like?

Anyone with a Google account can create a Form. Forms can be created in Google Drive or by going to forms.google.com. Once a title and description are written, questions are easily added by using a floating toolbar. Forms can be created with multiple questions from multiple choice, true or false, essay, linear scale and even file uploads. The form is sent to the students as a weblink.

What type of data feedback is available?

The analytics back is only limited by the questions being asked to the recipentants of the Form. Google has also helped by providing very easy to read charts and graphs for each question. Forms are done independently once the link has been received by the participant. The results are blind to the participant (unless set up as a quiz) allowing the creator of the the form access to data.
